Fizz is in this season. It’s actually been in the specialty coffee world for a long time. In tastings, using sparkling water to clean the pallet or prepare the pallet is common. Many coffee houses serve their espresso shots with a side of sparkling H2O. We like to mix it up a bit though...literally! By combing your espresso or cold brew with sparkling mineral water, not only are you creating a bubbly, coffee mocktail, but your also burning out the natural flavors of the coffee. Suddenly chocolate and fruit flavors jump out onto your taste buds and you are not only refreshed but smacked with taste delights. Here are some flavor notes from our coffee when combine with sparkling mineral water (Topo Chico is one of our faves).
